Policyholders Impacted by COVID-19:
Temporary Suspension of Premium Payment Program
Recently, Governor Ige issued directives for the State of Hawai`i to limit the spread of the COVID-19 virus. At HEMIC, we recognize that these measures will significantly impact many of our policyholders — including restaurants, bars, retail stores, services and other businesses — and we want to reassure them of our support during this time of need.
In an effort to do our part, we are pleased to offer financial relief to policyholders impacted by this sudden loss of business. If you have clients whose business has been closed or significantly curtailed as a result of the State’s directives, HEMIC will temporarily suspend premium collections for invoices with due dates through April 30, 2020.
To request this support on behalf of your client:
1. Complete the fillable form: “Request for Temporary Suspension of Premium Payments”.
2. Submit fully completed form to UWassist@hemic.com.
3. You will receive an email notification of your client’s qualification.
4. Clients reporting payroll through `AePay should continue to do so, even if payroll is $0.
We are pleased to provide this assistance to our mutual clients. Mahalo for your continued support!
