As such, HEMIC has enforced safety measures — and with customer service our top priority — we are proceeding with our business continuity plan.
In an effort to limit the number of people physically working in our office, most HEMIC employees have transitioned to remote work from home. We will maintain a small staff in the office to manage essential functions. To ensure a safe work environment, we have instituted strong protocols for frequent hand-washing, surface sterilization, and social distancing.
Our technology systems and business continuity planning provide us the flexibility to conduct business via web-based systems, collaborative software, video and teleconferencing. Our work and our meetings will continue, using digital channels as much as possible and leveraging technology to conduct internal and external meetings virtually.
