HEMIC's goal is to be the most distinctive Loss Prevention organization in Hawaii. One way we do that is by providing our insureds with a host of resources to help them answer questions about their coverage and improve their loss prevention programs.

HEMIC walked away with gold at 2014’s District 13 National ADDY Competition, Hawaii’s advertising awards show, which is locally referred to as the Pele Awards. The honors included a coveted Best of Show Award for HEMIC’s 30-second TV commercial, “Seafood.” HEMIC won four gold Pele Awards for the Seafood ad, including for cinematography and the “No Worries” TV campaign, as well as a gold Pele for the radio ad “Caterers” and a silver Pele for the radio ad “Big Sale.”

In 2015, HEMIC won the People’s Choice Award for the TV commercial, “Faux Pas.” In addition, “Faux Pas” received the silver Pele and “Spa” received the bronze Pele.
