Hurricane Insurance

What is Hurricane Insurance?

Coverage for damage caused by a storm or storm system defined as a “Hurricane.”

In Hawai‘i, we know first-hand the impact a hurricane can have on a business and proper insurance coverage can mean the difference between recovery and closing the doors for good. Hurricane coverage may be purchased through an enhancement to your property policy or as a standalone Hurricane policy.

  • Continuing for the duration that “hurricane” conditions exist in the island
  • Existing 72 hours following the cancellation of the watch or warning for the island by the Central Pacific Center of the National Weather Service
